What to expect in class
In my yoga classes we do a short sequence to begin to loosen our bodies, then we use some yoga postures and techniques to create strength and stability in our muscles and joints. We then move onto a seated breathing practice or meditation to help calm and focus the breath and the mind, all finished off with a guided relaxation.
In my Pilates classes we use steady controlled movement to create strength and balance in the whole body. We finish with a short body scan relaxation.
In my yogalates class we combine the posture work of yoga and the movement of Pilates to create a fusion class that strengthens and stabilises the body. We finish with a guided body scan relaxation.
All classes are holistic practices that help to create positive movement patterns, helping to calm the mind and body while helping to creating a healthy outlook on life.
